The Braintree Wellness Centre is a 1,300m² purpose-built community facility in Papanui, providing a dedicated home for organisations supporting people living with neurological conditions, including Multiple Sclerosis & Parkinson’s Canterbury and Dementia Canterbury.

Delivered on a negotiated, open-book basis for the Canterbury Brain Collective, the $3.8 million project was completed in May 2022. Reflecting the charitable nature of the development, Armitage Williams worked closely with suppliers and subcontractors to secure significant contributions toward the build, enabling the facility to be delivered well below typical market value while maintaining a high-quality outcome.

The completed centre provides a welcoming and functional environment designed to bring neurological support organisations, services and communities together under one roof.
